Twitter launches a product certification program to standardize third-party applications

The controversy over the sudden decision of API limit their development affecting third-party applications , continues in a new chapter where you know you started a new program called “Certified Products”, by which the company claim to support your seen good for developers prouctos new regulations and compliance requirements.

To launch this program decided to ally with companies like DataSift, Gnip, HootSuite and Radian6, among others, as a sign of support they give to those who begin work on certified tools.

The objective of this program is to “highlight the best products and services to prosper in Twitter”, so that those who use the product will generate added value in their experience, both as individual users, individuals or professionals, and businesses.

Among the various patterns that products must meet in order to qualify, you have also on attributions of rights demands and requirements for submission of the same.

In the list of partners and recommended products currently in the certification program site, no recommendations for the use of any third-party client, like UberSocial, Twicca, Tweetdeck and Echofon, among others, which, from now, will be relegated to “not add value to users.”
