Twitter plans to add filters to photos and compete directly with Instagram

(C) Mark D. Torres

Today, the process is almost trivial for many users: take a photo with your phone, apply some filter to Instagram, and upload it to Twitter on the fly. Obviously, the company is very interested blue bird that people continue with this practice, however, is also concerned that these same people stop using support applications-in this case-and we have a plan to offer an alternative .

In this case, it is rumored that Twitter may upgrade your mobile application and introduce to images that users want to upload. If the concept sounds familiar, it’s because straight on Twitter want people to go aside popular Instagram service and aged images to choose its own solution microblogging network that apparently would be of great interest to its users VIT ( Tweeters Very Important).

The information was leaked from Twitter employees, on condition of anonymity, for its part, the company declined to comment, but as always in these cases, that silence can be very talkative. This new move by Twitter could be effective in the coming months, and if so it will be very interesting to see if they change or not some of the customs of the people.
