Twitter will allow advertisers surveys directly on the timeline
As a way to monetize the Microblogging social network, Twitter released a tool today that allows advertisers direct surveys to users through its timeline. For this the company has partnered with Nielsen , a company specializing in the analysis of consumers.
The idea is quite simple: Some users see a twit asking if they want to be part of a survey, and if accepted, the message will expand on your timeline and you will see a series of questions.
Twitter then analyze the information with Nielsen as a way to convince advertisers of the desirability of putting Advertising on their Social Network as well as to help them refine their advertising campaign.
However, as the promoted tweets , these tools rely on native Twitter application for mobile devices, as well as from their website, which means it is a perfect example of why the network has begun to greatly hinder the third-party application development .Advertising, Microblogging, Nielsen, Poll, Polls, Social Network, Social Networks, Twiter, Twitter
