VIA announces new USB 3.0 PCIe 2.0 controllers

Very few existing chipsets with native bus, among them we can mention the Intel Z77, Z75, H77, Q77, Q75 and B75 chipsets and AMD A68, A75 and A85X, although many motherboards on the market, despite being based on different chipsets not listed, USB 3.0 support through the use of USB 3.0 chips for third parties such as ASMedia, Etron, via among other manufacturers. VIA Introduces New USB 3.0 drivers VL895 and VL806.

The new VIA (four USB 3.0) and (two USB 3.0 ports) may be used in cards directly integrated on motherboards for desktops and laptops, giving them the bus support USB 3.0 (5Gb / s), or serve to add additional USB 3.0 ports if the motherboard has native support.

Drivers VIA VL805 and VL806 are also backwards compatible with USB 2.0 (480Mb / s) and 1.1 (1.5Mb / s), and the tradition of VIA have quite aggressive and competitive prices.
