VIA launches new integrated graphics chipset VX11 DirectX 11
Earlier this year, VIA, a company known for its line of microprocessors Nano , announced the early availability of the chipset VX11 , which is available from today.
The new chipset is via VX11 igp chipset integrating, Northbridge (VIA VX11H), Southbridge (VIA VT1211), LAN (VIA VT6107) and audio (VIA Vinyl HD) on a single chip with an area of 33x33mm made with the process of manufacturing of 40nm and a TDP of 5.8W; between their defining characteristics we can mention its memory controller DDR3-1333 integrated support three USB 3.0 ports, six USB 2.0 ports, two SATA-2, reader MMC, MS Pro HG, SDHC / SDXC.
The IGP chipset integrating the VIA Chrome 640/645, which supports DirectX 11 API and opengl graphics and compute APIs for GPU accelerated DirectCompute and OpenCL 1.1, in terms of their ability to have hardware accelerated video to motor VIA Chromotion 5.0, by which is capable of playing 1080p FullHD content in stereoscopic 3D mode.
