VTX3D Radeon HD 7870 Black “Tahiti” proof

Some few days ago launched Club 3D video Radeon HD 7870 XT JockerCard , based on the new Tahiti GPU, and was close enough to the performance of the HD 7950. From HT4U bring us a review of the new also Radeon Black, based on the same GPU.

The specifications of the video card VTX3D Radeon HD 7870 Black are exactly the same as those of the Radeon HD 7870 JockerCard, but in the previous review was difficult a direct comparison between the new video card, compared to the other Radeon HD 7000 tested, due to use of different versions of the driver, in this situation improves new review of HT4U, they prove to VTX3D Radeon HD 7870 Black 12.11 Beta Catalyst with 11, while the other Radeon HD 7000 tested with the Catalyst 12.11 Beta 6a, since from the Beta Beta 6a to 11 only focused improvements were added to the Far Cry 3 and Call of Duty: Black Ops (none of them present in the tests), so that results are comparable between all models tested.

Without further ado, here are some of their test:

Games:

GPGPU:

as in the previous review, shows a performance quite close to that of the Radeon HD 7950, the Radeon HD beating GHz 7870 Edition “Pitcairn XT” by approximately 7.3%.

We recommend reviewing the full review HT4U.
