Vulnerability NVIDIA GeForce drivers

During this year, attackers have new goals as and AMD, evidence of them are remembered cases of hacking the Nvidia forums , or the recent vulnerability in the Automatic Updates service in AMD Catalyst drivers , to them unites them today is a in Nvidia drivers.

Peter Winter Smith , an independent security consultant, has discovered a vulnerability type buffer Overflow (stack buffer overflow) present on Nvidia GeForce drivers, which allows remote attackers to gain administrator rights and gain control of the computer by entering malicious code memmove operation on (NVVSVC.exe).

Nvidia is expected to take preventive measures against this vulnerability. As a temporary solution be recommended to block external access to the service Nvidia Display Device Server (NVVSVC.exe) using some utility Firewall.
