We know when a gene die

A group of scientists have discovered a gene that is responsible for most of the functions of our so-called “biological clock” that governs many of our most basic impulses (such as reproduction) and apparently also the time in which a person must die .

“The internal regulates many aspects of biology and human behavior. Including acute clinical conditions, such as stroke and heart attack, “said Andrew Lim, lead author of this research.

This study was conducted on 1,200 people aged 65 years and the idea was to find genetic traits that lead to suffering or have a high risk of developing Alzheimer’s or Parkinson’s but, instead, found that sleep habits as early, go to bed early , getting up late and sleep late into the morning are related to a nucleotide that is combined with the gene Period 1.

The article was published in Annals of Neurology, which gives some support but still have more tests to confirm this hypothesis and to deepen the understanding of our biological clock.

Saying Would you like to know if they will die in their sleep?
