Sales of Microsoft’s latest operating system, 8, may have started somewhat slow, but constant has grown at the expense of declining veterans Windows XP and Windows Vista. Thanks to this, Windows 8 now finally exceeded 5% of the market share of all operating systems in the world.

Not only that, but also this last month, according to data from , Windows 8 beat to reach the 5.1% share of the market versus the veteran operating system, which fell to 4.62%. Meanwhile, XP still represents a solid 37.17%.
