World record: They Intel Ivy Bridge to the 7.03 GHz
The third generation of intel microprocessors ivy bridge is already up and it’s time to check out some extreme overclocking that has been made in the hands of people who do not mind jeopardizing their chips, allowing us to enjoy world records as the case that we present below.
This is a user nicknamed “Hicookie” who took an Intel Core i7 3770K up to 7.03GHz from 3.77GHz which is factory default. As expected, we used liquid nitrogen to cool the platform mounted on a Gigabyte Z77X-UD3H.
