WWDC 2012: New MacBook Pro 15 “would NVIDIA Kepler

We are less than three hours of what will be the 2012 WWDC event where is expected to launch the new version of its operating system IOS 6 , next to the platform Mac OS X Mountain Lion and a new series of Mac computers . And speaking that finally we are in a time where the leaks are more outrageous, like this one that we have to see now.

Because it showed a picture of the motherboard inside the new 15-inch MacBook Pro, which shows the presence of a graphics chip (or “video card”) NVIDIA GeForce 650M , part of the recently launched Kepler architecture art , which has been adopted by very few manufacturers worldwide and still not become a mass product.

What is expected of this solution for 3D? Regarding the previous generation of 500M series is promised twice as energy efficiency, while if we compare AMD Radeon HD graphics 6750M and 6770M using current models of 15 inch, in terms of performance the 650m should be 70% higher.

As for the central processor, and as we had already advanced , it is more likely to be updated to the generation Intel Ivy Bridge , also offering superior performance noticeably.

Disclaimer: The figure of 70% is quite preliminary and estimated by the Mathematics Department of Futurology and Betazeta inaccurate and may vary as we rely on informal and non-performance of the geforce 650m officers.
