Broadband and Narrowband How are they different?

When we talk about a narrowband connection, we mean that it is a telephone connection or also known as dial up, it has a maximum data download speed of 56 kilobits per second, unlike broadband, which has a maximum data download speed of 256,512 or more kilobits per second.

In other words, a narrowband connection means that less data flows every second, while the bandwidth offers a larger connection for downloading and uploading data. To make things a little more redundant, narrowband offers a narrower transmission path, while broadband is wider.

Differences between optical fiber and broadband network

A transmission medium commonly used in data networks is known as optical fibre. It is made up of a transparent glass or plastic thread, through which pulses of light are sent to represent the data being transmitted.
